Welcome….This journal is a glimpse of my thoughts as I journey through life with Christ at my side. Its purpose is to help keep me focused on my journey by reflecting on my steps. Always seeking the Lord’s direction during my journey with an open and loving heart. At times perhaps the venue of my journaling may appear as seemingly small or non-significant; however, I believe it is these steps during our life’s journey that holds value beyond measure. Hopefully, it will serve, as a channel to deepen my relationship with the Lord and enable me to more fully appreciate the countless blessings in my life given to me by a truly awesome heavenly Father, whose love has no boundaries. Seasons Hold the Special Creative Touch of Our Father

Spring is just around the corner. Even though snow blanketed the landscapes for a great number of us this past week, sunshine soon arrived to hasten the snow’s melting and help usher us toward that seemingly magic time of year… spring.

The budding trees, delicate spring flowers and the blossoming greenery of our landscapes will create that magical essence, which we fondly cherish. It is a transformation, which starts out very subtle, hardly noticed, and then it seems overnight our landscapes have blossomed into a glorious splendor of greenery and vibrant spring flowers.

The harshness of winter’s weather is soon forgotten as this seemingly magical time of year unfolds and makes its presence felt and loved as springtime captivates our lives. Windows that have been locked for months are now opened, so the freshness of the spring season can be enjoyed. Spring attire soon makes its way back to the front of our wardrobes and winter coats are soon forgotten. The backyard once again becomes a playground for our children and their friends to enjoy. Gardening takes its grip and has us digging, weeding, planting and loving it!

Perhaps one of the most appreciated elements of spring is the increase in sunshine! We begin to feel renewed as the sun’s radiance helps lift our spirits and enables us to feel that extra spring in our footsteps.

Spring is the time of year that Easter is celebrated. Remembering our Lord Jesus and His death on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins… followed by His resurrection the third day is without doubt a special blessed time of year for us to rejoice in His love. Matthew 28:6 KJV “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said…” We should treat every day like Easter by always giving thanks to the Lord Jesus for his grace and love.

In Genesis 1:14 KJV we find “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:” What wonderful treats the Father gives to us each year as the glory of his works can be found in the seasons he created. Each season holds the special creative touch of our Father.
